Player Cards: Rounds 1 & 2 For the Parramatta Junior League

6 Apr 2018 by MATT BRADY

Good Morning All,

Factoring in how hectic the lead up to season start has been for everyone and the progression to online cards.

I think that a level of leniency on the “no card, no play” policy for Rounds 1 and 2 should apply. As there is a scheduled week off in between Rounds 2 and 3, this should give plenty of time to ensure all cards are finalised for Round 3.

Having said that, any player or official who takes the field without being properly registered for the season will be subject to standard penalties outlined in the fines schedule of the Parramatta Junior League By-Laws, section 21. FINES

(j) Allowing a player to play without proper clearance – Loss of points & $1000.00 for each match played. (Players still awaiting a clearance WILL NOT be able to play until clearance has been completed)

(k) Allowing an unregistered, unqualified, suspended or disqualified player to play – loss of points & $1000.00 for each match played.

All Players and Team Officials are to be written on the score sheets and will be verified in the Football Office.

ONLY REGISTERED PLAYERS & OFFICIALS ARE TO PARTICIPATE THIS WEEKEND

Secretaries run a list of active participants and this will tell you if they are registered to be able to play.

If they are not on this list they cannot play.

Any team who allows an unregistered player or official to partake this week will face the above noted fines as per the Parramatta Junior League By-Laws

With the new technology starting, this I believe will make things so much easier for all teams.

Kind regards

Matt
